Born and raised in a small suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, Roman enjoyed a childhood filled with imaginative adventures, including his rise to world-renowned Bigfoot hunter. As an adult, he continues to use his penchant for the unordinary in his writing, directing and artistic endeavors.
Working with such artists as Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood, Roman has been nominated for eleven Emmy awards and has taken home three in addition to winning a 2009 MTV Music Video Award for Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me as well as being named 2007 and 2008 Director of the Year along with numerous other industry honors for his directing and special effects work in television and film.
He most recently directed new music videos for Blake Shelton, Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw and Kristin Chenoweth. Roman’s “Before He Cheats” video for Carrie Underwood was also just voted Number One Video of the Decade!
He’s currently in production on his films SERAFINE and APOCALYPSE OVER PANCAKES.
