Shannon was born in Idaho and lived in six states and nineteen locales before settling back in her home state. She lives with a bunch of humans and a few animals amid many, many farm fields. She never leaves home without a book and an insulated mug that can at any point be filled with Diet Mountain Dew. Some of her very favorite non-book related things are pie, chocolate cake, and pasta. Yes, she’s aware that all of those are food. Also making the list of favorite things is laughing with family and friends, skiing, and playing violin. Her long-standing claim to fame is being a jump rope world champion. (She knows you’re googling what that is now.) Shannon has a BA in Psychology and appreciates that life is a lovely type of psychological experimentation discovery. Luckily, this weaves nicely into her young adult novels.
