Henry H. Neff

Biography

Born in 1973, Henry H. Neff hails from the Chicago area and is a graduate of New Trier High School and Cornell University. Upon graduating college, Henry tried the "sensible thing" and embarked on a six-year corporate career predominately as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. Creative callings could not be ignored, however, and in 2002 Henry left the corporate world behind to focus on teaching, writing, and illustration.

Henry's first novel, The Hound of Rowan—the first in The Tapestry quartet—was the byproduct of a lifelong passion for fantasy, history, and the power of myth.

A former teacher of U.S. history and fine arts at a San Francisco high school where he enjoyed devising new challenges for his wonderful and disbelieving students, Henry recently moved to New York. Despite his Brooklyn address, Henry remains an eternally optimistic and emotionally volatile fan of the Chicago Bears.
