Octavia Jones

Octavia Jones was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and graduated Sweet Briar College with a handy anthropology degree. When she's not conjuring up characters—flinging them into peril or forcing them to do things they'd really rather not—she surfs, travels, paints and, with enough prodding, cooks. On sunny days, she loves offsetting her carbon footprint in the garden and catering to the whims of her husband, sons Booker and Wheat, and three dogs. On the rainy ones, she is happiest splashing through a good book.
