Margery Cuyler

Because of her love for stories and children, Margery Cuyler both writes and edits children's books. A prolific author in her own right, Margery worked for 21 years as Editor-in-Chief of Holiday House, a children's book publisher in New York City. She has also worked at the executive level for other publishers, including Henry Holt and Company, Golden Books, and Winslow Press.

Recently, Margery has been directing the trade program at Marshall Cavendish—and has still found time to write her own books. She lives in Princeton, New Jersey, in the same house in which she grew up, with her husband, John Perkins, her two sons, Thomas and Timothy, and her two cats, Boomerang and Nikki.
