April Genevieve Tucholke is a critically acclaimed writer of young adult and crossover fiction. Her work has been published in thirteen countries and received multiple starred reviews. April grew up on an isolated farm deep in the Midwest. As a child she would often stay up late reading books long after the rest of her family was asleep. She has lived all over the United States, and resided in Edinburgh for two years--where she spent most of her free time roaming the Scottish countryside in search of castle ruins. She currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two dogs.
